Tendering and Construction process

Once all of the required design documentation is complete, we will draw up a short list of potential contractors with you. We can recommend selected contractors whose workmanship and professionalism is known to be of the highest quality. The design documents are sent to the short listed contractors, who are requested to respond with their tender price by a fixed date. We will then assist you with the final selection of the contractor who is to perform the construction work.

An optional service that we offer is to administer the contract during construction. The construction contract is always directly between the client and the contractor, but as contract administrator we are able to assist with procedural items such as the agreement of stage payments, inspection of the works to ensure they are in accordance with the specification and identification of any cost or time variances.

Finally, once the hard landscaping is done we can turn the framework into a garden by planting.
