Maintenance
Plans
One of the most frequent requests is for a 'low maintenance' scheme, but there is no such thing as a 'no maintenance' scheme. Even a concrete back yard needs sweeping occasionally, and perhaps a lick of paint on the walls. We will have discussed the amount of time you can devote to your garden during the initial consultation, and the planting plan will be designed with this in mind. You may be a gardening novice or an old hand, or perhaps you have some full-time or part-time help - whatver your circumstances, a detailed schedule of what needs doing when may be just what you need. Pure Garden Design offers, as an optional service, a maintenance plan tailored precisely to your scheme. This can be used by yourself as an aide-memoire or can be passed over to your gardener as a guide. As well as identifying times to lift, divide, prune, mulch etc. for every plant in your garden it will also contain specific details for your scheme, such as that a yew hedge is intended to be 1.8m high or that an espaliered apple should be constrained to 2m. The entire gardening year is mapped out for you, so you can schedule the work to fit your lifestyle and keep your new garden looking its best for year after year.
