The Detailed Design

Once we have a mutually agreed sketch plan the detailed design phase can begin. This phase covers the minutiae of the design - paving layouts, exact dimensions of steps, construction details for water features, bespoke pergolas or whatever is in your scheme.

This is where technology comes into play. Computer aided drawing allows a high degree of accuracy and repeatability of these drawings, and this means that there is far less potential for niggly design issues to surface on site. This in turn means that construction should run smoothly, giving the quickest, simplest path to your finished garden.

During this phase we will generate every drawing needed by the contractor during construction, and will specify and source every material needed for your project. This is the most time intensive phase of the design work, but once it is complete we can move on to tendering and construction.
