Contemporary simplicity

The clients had been living in their new build property for a few years but always felt that the garden lacked impact.

With the a young family and two dogs they wanted a garden that provided plenty of room for both kids and dogs to run and play, but which wasn't dominated by play equipment. PURE garden design's solution was to provide a simple, geometric scheme with generous lawn areas and rich, low maintenance planting with a sense of exploration provided by a contemporary green oak pergola.

An additional challenge was the inclusion of substantial play equipment without having it dominate the garden. A simple of white stemmed Birches reduces the impact of the play equipment while still allowing parents to keep an eye on the action.
